About us!Our Blogspot In 2003, Gary received an old letter from his father stating that we had celebrity connections amongst the family, but didn't show how. So we did some research on our family history and found out we are connected to Walt Disney through marriage. We weren't satisfied with just finding out about our famous connection, at this point realized that our entire family had a story to tell, and if we didn't uncover it, nobody may ever get the opportunity in our family to know their family history. Now, 6 years later, we have our entire family history known to us through research. Pictures of our Grandfather (we had one since he died prematurely in 1936), and over come that with pictures of his father and grandfather. This is the first picture shown on our main page. It shows the effort we put into our search, we have a family tree with over 15,000 individuals all of which are related. We have uncovered stories of both hardship, and good times. Even solving mysteries of where we immigrated and what our ethnic background was. This helped, now we know a lot more about us!  After years of doing our own family history research, we realized how much we learned, not only about our own family, we learned that this can be done by anybody wanting to know their ancestry. We now know where to find good information, and what sites will assist you instead of running you in circles. We wanted to share our experience with others so they can enjoy their family history, we feel is the most important history to know. Genealogy is important to your family in the future, and they deserve to know where they came from to allow them to figure out where it is they need to go. With modern technology having such a positive role in making research right within your fingertips, this is the best time to take advantage of the knowledge that is out there.
