September 4th, 2006 2 anniversaries were to be celebrated on this day.

Randy and Beth Jamieson have been married 30 years on this day.

They are in San Antonio where they live.

Also, Gary and Missy Jamieson

celebrated their 7th anniversary and 14 years together.

In the 9sons faction, it was merely a coincidence that the oldest brother and the youngest married their spouses exactly 23 years apart.

We went to Barry's at around 6-ish. Considerably, everyone was in good spirits, or attempting to be. There was a college game on that had many of family and friend's interest (Miami vs Florida State).

Amongst the attendees were Todd and Misty, Nat and P.J., Gary and Missy, Glenn, Barry and Samantha Jamieson, Alex Storshenko, Charlie Moffit, Lynn, Sean, Ron and Mindy Morris and many of Mindy's friends from college. Gary and Glenn talked of their trip around the US in late September. The trip will consist of visits to Joel and Melinda in Alabama, Loraine and Don in Waukesha, WI, Jeff, Nicole, John and Barb Watson, Chad Balogh and Nicole (Jamieson) Popovich Berg, and eventually into Manitoba, Canada to see family on dad's side we have never met. Also to see where his grandfather and great grandfather were buried.

It was a light humor day, while I was there I spoke to Jeff Watson on the phone. This was the first time we spoke in over a year. Jeff was my best friend growing up. I met him shortly after I turned 10. He is and was the kind of friend that you never argued with or had any confrontation with. We have consistently remained friends even though many moves separated us along the way. Dad and I will be seeing him and his family next month.

The night ended around 11pm, Florida State won, and the rest of us left the Labor Day Party. Barry grilled sausages and burgers, they were delish:)

September 10th, 2006 This was the first Sunday of football for the year. Sunday football is relatively important in our family because it is the one thing most of us share love for, The Green Bay Packers. It has become tradition, along with a football pool of family and friends that has last well over 20 years. 2005/2006 winner was Scott.

We went to the "ranch" to watch football. Todd, Misty, Devin, JoJo, AJ, Samantha and Charlie are now residing there, dad has moved in with Barry. We got there around 2pm. Dad was there, along with the people above. Missy, my friend Randy and Allison, were there as well. Dad and I talked about our trip to Canada we are taking on the 25th of September. We watched some football, our Packers lost 26-0, which is somewhat of the theme as of late. Dad, Todd, Devin, Randy and myself took turns in games of horseshoes, Todd and Devin came out winners.

Misty, Missy and Samantha made fajitas and a taco salad and we enjoyed our company.

I must admit, things seem really different right now. Our loses really show at times like this, the "ranch" is where I used to go to see Mom and Scott....we all missed their presence. Though our family showed that we will continue to get together even though mom isn't there to organize anymore.

Barry stopped in momentarily, as well as Misty's parents.

We talked a lot, and stayed watching football until about 7-8pm. It was good to have this day.
