17th, 2006- --Jamieson Journal 2--
My 31st birthday
My birthday started literally at midnight. I came home from work about that time and was surprised by my wife and a lottery ticket. I won $100 off the ticket. There that night was my wife Mercedes, my niece Samantha and her boyfriend Charlie, and my friend Allison MacNeill. Also friends Kerin Newsome and Kevin Manley stopped in. After falling asleep and waking up, I went to work that day. At about 8:30pm, my mother called to wish me a happy birthday. At about 10pm, I came home from work and had a few more visitors. My brothers' Todd and Scott came to see me, Scott brought 31 lottery tickets, Todd brought tickets to a show (Glenn Beck, Mid-Life Crisis). This was a very pleasant surprise. Than my brother Joel called from Alabama. My last visitor that day was Theresa Rowland, Allisons's mother and also a friend of ours. She gave me money. It is never easy for me to except gifts, though the love I felt that night left me feeling proud.

18th, 2006- Father's Day
The Jamieson's met for Father's day at the home of Nat and Joey Jamieson in Clermont/Groveland, FL. This was the first time many of us had seen the house. My wife and I arrived about 2-3pm. Mom and dad where there, Barry, Logan, Tara, Rick and Bonnie, Scott, Jacob, Timmy, Nat, Joey, Kristen and PJ, John and Leslie, Todd, Devin, and Jojo. John and Leslie made a delicious meal, and dessert. A canal currents through Nat's backyard, Barry, dad, and some of the children caught many fish, mainly catfish. Horseshoes were played and talking.... It was another good family visit, I received more birthday greeting from my family, and a card from mom and dad with money. My wife and I stayed abnormally later than usual, spending time with Nat, and Joey who I haven't spent time with in some years. Father's day and my birthday ended gracefully.
