May 13th, 2007 Happy Mother's Day.

Well for the Jamieson bunch this isn't the

special Mother's Day we would've hoped.

You hear the advertisements, and commercials talking of Mothers and gifts to get her. The bitterness is there, I do miss mom more than anything in the world.

Today the day started at 8am when I woke up. I went to pick up Todd for tennis and we met dad at our usual spot, in Barry's neighborhood.

We didn't finish our first game when Barry showed up with racket in hand. Dad is still playing like a monster; Todd and I won the first game 6-1, Dad and Barry won the 2nd 6-4, and the last game went into tiebreaker rounds ending 8-6, which Todd and I squeaked out of 3 match points.

These games were tough and Barry is a sharp guy and hard to play against, Dad has always been a cunning tennis player. Todd and I, although displaying a lot of frustration on the court, are extremely competitive and try to put up a good fight anytime we are out there.

Dad's jaw is still sore from 2 weeks ago when he fell, though it has not affected him in the games, when he eats it gets a little painful.

From the tennis match, we hopped in Barry's truck to see mom at Woodlawn Cemetery in Ocoee, FL. This was the first time dad had been there since the burial. Though you could see is mind wandering while he was there, he maintains a positive outlook, knowing he still has plenty of time himself.

After we spent some time there, we went to Barry's to celebrate Mother's Day. Samantha and Charlie were there with Jacob, Timmy and Dominic.

The boy's mom, Sonya, called at that time so they didn't get to stay long, but it was great seeing them. They were playful and happy to see me, I guess Timmy was asking where I was.

Todd and I left to his house to get the food (chicken). We stopped there and washed up and headed back.

By this time, Misty, Leigh, Dale, Christian, Anneka, Amber, Jessica, Kevin, Allyvia, and Bianca were there. As well as Nat and PJ. Nat cooked the food on the grill, I went over where Leigh and Dale were, and the kids were swimming.

The pool and right next to the tennis courts, all in walking distance to Barry's house. After eating, and Leigh's dessert, everyone ventured off; Leigh and Dale to his mother's, and the rest of us back home. Jo-Jo and AJ were with AJ's grandmas for the day, Devin is still in Georgia doing lord knows what, and my poor wife had to work.

I am hoping she will quit soon to concentrate on the child coming, though she is worried about bills, a better job is exactly what the doctor ordered for me, I have made many attempts on improving my situation.

Everyone was in great moods, PJ, Misty, and Leigh were joking together; Amber ate more beans than I have ever seen anyone take down.

I fear for the people that has to be in the same room with her tonight. All in all things went very good today I know we were all missing mom.

May 14th, 2007 Logan is on a baseball team called, there team is the "Giants". Barry has been coaching the team for quite some time. They have an important game today against the "Cubs" who can be considered there nemesis.

Jamieson Journal 27

The "Cubs" coach is a little uneven for a lack of better words and the last time these 2 teams played, this coach was loud, obnoxious, and had little concept of Little League play.

To make this next game with them even more important is that this was the championship game, winner plays in there World Series. The game is to start at 6:30 pm.

We get there as the first pitch was set into play. Amongst the Jamieson backers were Nat, Pj, Joey, Kristin, Glenn, Todd, Samantha, Charlie, Tara, Missy and I; others there were Allison MacNeill, Ron and John Morrison, and Mary Colona (Luster).

The game started off rocky, the "Cubs" were winning 5-3 until the 4 inning of 6. Logan's team, the "Giants" went ahead in the fourth 6-5. In the 5th inning they made it 7-5. The 6th and final inning rested on the shoulders of there defense.

Logan made the first and third out at first base to give the "Giants" a come-from-behind victory. Missy, Todd and I ate hotdogs which a baseball game is the best place to eat them; and after the game we headed to Barry's for an hour, and than to Samantha's house. We got home close to midnight.
