| May 27th,
2007- Woke
up at 8am from only sleeping an hour.
I tossed and turned all night.
I
tried to wake Devin up to play tennis but he didn't budge.
I was the
first one there, Dad and Barry came 5 minutes later,
and Todd 10 minutes
later. Dad and I lost to Barry and Todd 6-3. Then Barry and Dad lost to
Todd and I 6-2. Barry left to take Tara to her friends and then to Nat's
house.
Jamieson Journal 29
At this time a guy from Toronto named Todd asked to play with us,
he went on my team. Todd and Dad won 6-2. He was a nice guy, left with
his wife after the first game. Then I played Todd and Dad and won 6-2;
then Todd played Dad and I and we lost 6-4. We played a lot of tennis,
about 4 hours.
We went back to Dad's and Barry's house for a spell and
said our goodbyes. Todd and I drove off together and talked for about a
half hour of business. I came home at about 4pm and relaxed the rest of
the day.
Apparently Rick and Bonnie had contacted
Todd and may be seeing him in the next week. Dad, Missy and I have a
planned trip to go see Joel and family in Alabama next week.

May 29th,
2007- At
about 2pm; Devin and I went to the Historical Center near the Library in
Orlando. I wanted to find out about their Genealogy services and to find
what I could on microfilms, etc. Though when we got there it was 5
floors.
Going in to the elevator I noticed that the 5th floor was to
search for historical records, though when I pressed the button to go
there it would only allow me to go to 1-4 floors. Devin and I quickly
found out we were in a tourism history center which taught of Orlando's
past.
Although very interesting, not what I came there for. On one of
the floors there was the old Courthouse (Courtroom B). Apparently the
place had quite a history. Ted Bundy (Serial Killer) had his name
scratched into the defendants table, though no proof of this definitely
being his doing.
Jamieson Journal 29
Also there are stories of a ghost that runs through the
stairways next to the courtroom. Fortunately for me, I don't believe in
ghosts so us being alone walking through didn't bother me, even hiding
in corners to give Devin a hard time.
On my way out of the historical
center I asked about the top floor; I was told the Genealogical Center
was in the Library next door, the top floor was mainly for land plot
records of old.

May 30th,
2007- Missy
has an appointment at 1:45pm to Dr. Ricardo Lopez on 4401 Orange Ave S.
This is our first visit to this doctor who is really close.
Jamieson Journal 29
They did a
normal check up, everything seems well. The excitement begins to set in
just a little more, I feel our anxious will come much more later.
Our
next appointment for her are June 14 and 15th where she will have blood
work and an ultrasound, we should know a lot more then.
We have decided to leave to
visit Jay and the family in Alabama in the early morn of June 1st, this
will give us an extra day.
Jamieson Journal 29
June 1st,
2007- Missy
and Gary arrive at dad's house at about 3:30am to head to Thorsby,
Alabama to visit family. We saw Barry for a minute, whom let us in the
neighborhood.
Dad had figured out the route we were taking. After the
first 10 minutes Missy got sick in the back-seat though recovered
quickly by sleeping most of the trip. During the drive we ran into a lot
of smoke coming from the fires that have been hitting North Florida and
parts of Georgia.
The drive took 9 hours; Gary drove, we arrived at
Jay's work about 11:30am. From there we followed him back to the house.
Jay went back to work to finish out his day, at the house was Melinda,
Sam, Joshua, and Haley. We were glad to have gotten there to see
everyone.
Jamieson Journal 29
Jay got back around 6pm, we all spent time together, Melinda
made a wonderful meal off the grill; pork, scalloped potatoes amongst
other things. The children are getting much bigger, and they are very
well-behaved kids.
Probably the most affectionate children in the family
constantly giving well needed hugs to their grandpa and uncle Gary and
aunt Missy.
Haley fell asleep on Gary has she did in October during the
visit then. Dad went to bed quite late; around mid-night and the rest of
us talked for a couple hours and went to bed.

June 2nd,
2007- Jay
had to work this Saturday, so around noon the rest of us; Melinda, Sam,
Joshua, Haley, Missy, Dad, and myself (Gary) headed to see Uncle Al,
Aunt Mary and a bunch of our cousins who live about 15-25 minutes from
Jay's house.
First we stopped at the drugstore to get a few things and
then to Sonic fast food to grab some hamburgers which we all ate outside
the restaurant. From there we went and saw Al, Mary, Alana, Justin,
Brenda, Veronica and many of the children at the "compound"
which they all live near each other.
We all talked a lot; it is always
nice seeing this group, we have grown close to this side of the family
through out the years. This is our only cousins that are close to age to
us and we have spent a lot of time with them throughout our lives.
Jamieson Journal 29
While
we were there I took a trip with Brenda on the "Gator" which
is a small motor vehicle which goes about 15 MPH though can get through
confined spaces. She drove me where Justin was; he just purchased 45
Acres of land less than a mile from where he is living.
There is a creek
that flows through his property, this is a new buy for him and a great
one. He now has plenty of time in his life to build that up and create a
future world for his children in that area. It was an interesting drive
back in the woods where we found him; Dustin; Justin and Brenda's
littlest rode with us and enjoyed every minute of it.
She took me
through places I wasn't sure a vehicle any size could go through. We did
get to Justin in there who was proudly taking advantage of his new land.
I skipped some rocks in the pond there with Sierra who was with her dad
Justin.

Dad and Missy and the rest talked at the "compound",
when I got back we stayed for a couple hours enjoying the company. Missy
and Melinda left first to get food for dinner; dad and I left shortly
after. Jay got home around 6pm we ate Bratwurst which was delish.
That
night we all played Bingo, which is a game on TV that people at home can
participate to and possible win money themselves. Dad got Bingo on the
last ticket and is entered in a $50,000 raffle; we were all excited
about seeing dad win. We talked a lot this night.
