 Missy, Dad and I left Thorsby, Alabama at 9:45am Orlando time.

Always hard saying good-bye though we all have to get back to reality.

We all had a wonderful time and it was a flawless trip. I have a bond with Jay, we grew up together somewhat separate from a lot of the other brothers. Now having bonds with his children it is quite the feeling of what family should. Melinda was as sweet as always; her and Missy are close.

I drove the entire 8 hours home, dad stayed up with me both ways of the trip while Missy slept in the back-seat.

I always have fun traveling with dad, good conversations and we made it there and back without a hitch; dad is like having a human map. Dad has a pretty bad scrape on his leg from before the trip, though it seemed to be bothering him when he walked.

We pulled in to Barry and dad's place at 5:45pm, we made good time and just ran into Barry who was going out to play tennis with Todd. Before he left he put a bulb in my brake light, which could have saved me from a ticket on the way back to our house in Orlando.

We said our good-byes to dad and drove home. Devin greeted us home, shortly after Allison got home. A couple hours later, Todd brought Jordan so he could spend the night on his birthday.

It was nice to spend time with Jordan on his birthday, we felt bad missing his party. Todd hung out for an hour or 2, at about 2-4am we all crashed.

 June 6th, 2007-  Missy's parent's, Preston and Carmen Colona, arrived in Orlando, FL today from their home in Virginia. They arrived in about 2pm.

 Jordan left to go home from mine (Gary) and Missy's place at around 6pm, Samantha stopped in earlier and took him home.

Devin started a new job today at Premiere Factory Outlet, which sells pornography. It is right down the street from where I work. He started at 8:45am, I drove him, and Samantha picked him up at 5:30pm. She came over at 11pm again and hung out.

I got a phone call from Bruce Tryon at about 9:30pm. Bruce is a 4th cousin on my mom's side; John W Lapp and Irene Tryon our are mutual grandparents.

We had talked several times through email and I have gotten much information from him on the internet about our mutual family. Bruce is going to send me a picture of Irene Tryon's father William as well as other things. I should be receiving this CD in the next couple weeks.

 We talked for 36 minutes and had a great conversation of our family genealogy. He is from and living in Michigan; I hope him and his family make it south here one day to meet our cousins from our great great great great grandparents.

June 7th, 2007-  Carmen Colona and Missy left about 11am to run errands. I (Gary) slept late and had the most vivid dream of my brother Scott, who had died 10 months ago from a mis-medicated brain stroke.

I have been somewhat complaining lately because I never had dreams of him and Mom like a lot of the family has in the last 9-10 months. In my dream I was talking to Scott and he looked 10-20 years younger, with a well-trimmed mustache and his hair was shiny black, groomed extremely well.

After talking a while in the dream, I seemed to completely realize the reality of what I was doing because I took a good look at Scott and hugged him super tight. In my dream I cried heavily, and don't remember much past that.

 At 12:30pm they went and saw Carmen's doctor to check on her health and he immediately sent her to the hospital. Apparently, her heart is not so much pumping but pulsing.

Her heart is pushing twice as fast, though it is not pumping much blood through her body and to her brain.

Carmen is having symptoms of a stroke who will most likely get blood thinners and other treatment to eliminate this problem; ironically, Missy got home at 1:15pm to alert me of her mother's hospitalization and to prepare for Carmen's stay there, waking me up from the vivid dream I had of Scott who basically died from blood thinners.
