| June 10th,
2007- I
took Devin to work at 8:45am and then headed to dad's for tennis meeting
him and Todd.
Dad has a bad foot and ankle which is badly infected,
he
has been taking antibiotics, still looks very painful.
He stated if he
can put on his shoe, he will play. Needless to say, we played 2 sets of
tennis; the first set dad and I won 6-3. The 2nd set I won 6-3 against
dad and Todd. From there we stopped in by dad's house and I got a call
from John to let me know we were celebrating Father's Day next Sunday at
Nat's house.

Todd and I left to Todd's house and stopped at the store on
the way to get some groceries. Dad showered and met us there. Misty, AJ,
Casey, and Jordan were at the house, Misty and dad cooked a pot roast.
Meanwhile, I left with Todd again to clean dad's car.
Randy, my oldest
brother called and talked to dad when we got back at the house, shortly
after, we ate dinner which included baby carrots and potatoes.
At about
6pm, dad dropped me off at his house where my jeep was, I left from
there in time to finding Devin walking home from work, he was close to
home. Missy got home about an hour after I did, she went and saw her
mother at the hospital. We both were exhausted and napped the night
away.

June 11th,
2007- It
has been exactly 1 year since I started this journal of our family. It
is a quite day for me so far, a day off and no immediate errands to be
done.
Though I reflect back to one year ago when things were quite
different. We had yet to face tragedy, we were an innocent family
intrigued by the companionship our large group.
Jamieson Journal 32
One year ago today, we
were completely unaware how our lives would change forever. Scott was
helping me with my Genealogy, and mom, yet injured with her back issues,
was full of life and enjoying the families' presence as she had always
been known for. Dad was content being with mom and needed very little to
keep him ambitious.
Us brothers were still on top of the world yet
wondering how long our lucky family would stay close and intact. Joshua
was celebrating his 7th birthday and all of the brothers were together
in one place land-marking this day as the last time we were all together.
Jamieson Journal 32
At this point in life I am still very sad about everything, no matter
how hard you try, you can never prepare yourself to lose the special
people in your life. Although we have worked together making things
right, there is a lot left undone.
Timmy has yet to get his name
changed, brothers I used to see once a week I now see once every 6
months, Jacob and Timmy are not being considered like they should be,
and we are all still confused on why these things have to be so hard on
the soul, which apparently is the price you pay for love. Carmen
Colona, Missy's mother gets out of the hospital.
June 12th,
2007- Joshua's
8th birthday! He celebrated it with Joel, Melinda, Sam, and Haley in
Thorsby, Alabama where they live.
Jamieson Journal 32
He got a lot of presents from his mom
and dad as usual and chose his dinner; ribs! We called from here towards
the night time to wish him Happy Birthday.

June
13th,
2007- I
woke up at 8:15am to take Devin to work about 4 miles away. Keep this in
mind because it follows up later........
At about 3pm I got a call from
Barry telling me John was taken by ambulance.
Jamieson Journal 32
After waiting to find out where
he was going I left to the hospital. On the way, I picked up and from
work and then dropped off Allison at her work.
When I picked up Devin,
he asked if I had seen my cat. Which brings me to the follow up;
apparently, Elo, my cat, got under my hood and rode in there while I
took Devin to work.
Right before I pulled away, the cat jumped down and
ran like hell towards a large set of woods. Devin saw all this though
failed to tell me until 5:30pm that this had happened. I didn't have a
clue. Unfortunately, no happy ending yet.
Jamieson Journal 32
After dropping off Allison,
Devin and I went to Florida Hospital in Orlando on Rollins St. to see
John.
He was in the ER in room B5. Leslie was in there with him. We
visited for a while, he was feeling pain though slowly feeling better.
Todd came about a half hour later. We stayed until about 11:00pm.
I
drove Leslie home, John was in a room with another patient. They are
checking on John through the night and trying to find out what is
happening to him.
Jamieson Journal 32
Missy searched for the cat throughout the night
between work but no luck. John had a biopsy lanced from him hoping his
skin cancer doesn't come back. He has been in remission for well over 5
years.
June 14th,
2007- It's
a Boy!!! At 11:15am Missy and I went to her ultrasound. Her mother,
father and sister and brother; Carmen, Preston, and Mary and Preston Jr.
met us there.
They had assigned us in before we got there; it was 5
seconds that we walked in there they called for "Mercedes". We
went in and they immediately started the ultrasound.
Jamieson Journal 32
Right away they
figured out it was a boy! The nurse said Missy's due date is November
28th. Everyone in the room spoke of how well-endowed he is already.
Missy announced his name as CAPEN SCOTT
JAMIESON.
Capen is the
last name of Missy's grandmother Elizabeth Capen (Rodriguez), and the
name Scott is obviously taken the name of my brother who died 11 months
ago. I have a feeling I will be calling him Scott, I like that name.
Missy had guessed it
to be a boy; and had said the due date will be November 27th, which is
one day off from the due date that we were just told today.
