The boys seem to be feeling comfortable with this situation, they really do get bounced around from myself and Missy, to Samantha and Charlie, to Leigh and Dale, to Barry and even Carmen and Preston.

This shows our devotion to the kids, everyone of us want these children to be apart of our lives and to know the past. Jacob broke down on the 10th, he is thinking a lot about his dad and misses him.

They talk about their father a lot to me. Timmy says he sees him everywhere. They ask questions about what neat things their dad could do, to questions about his death.

July 12th, 2007- Our appointment today was for 7:15am. Dad came at 5:45am, Missy, him and I got to Winnie Palmer at 7am.

We found out basically what we already knew; Capen has bilateral club feet. The left foot is quite inverted the right foot is not as bad.

At this point, we will probably have to wait until Capen is born to actually physically move is ankles and feet to see the severity of this problem. The baby otherwise is perfectly healthy and full of movement.

Dad got to see the heartbeat and felt him kicking around in Missy's belly. We have a picture of the ultrasound taken today, I will also post up the other ultrasound picture that was taken June 14th.

Missy has to take a blood test in the next week to check for down syndrome, and things of that nature which needs to be done before 21 weeks. We found out today that she is 20 weeks along; Capen is 11 ounces; gained 6 ounces since June 14th when he was 5 ounces, 5 inches.

I will post her results for her blood test when it is taken. I want to thank everyone who has wrote to us here, family and friends are a great thing.

I will continue bringing what information we get to this site and glad that we have you to share this with.

July 13th, 2007- This marks the beginning of our not happy anniversaries. One year ago today is when Scott entered the hospital .

So many memories come up about him. I remember how he talked many times of being excited about Missy and I having children.

He always stated how great of parents we would be. I miss having my brother, my friend come over. I miss joking with him and getting his insight on everything. One of the last conversations I had with Scott was about his daughter Nicole.

He couldn't wait to see her as she was flying in from Wisconsin and he was going to be able to see all 3 daughters together, which was about the last thing he saw.

Todd, Jordan, and Chris came by at around 7pm to spend time with Devin. Missy and I both got home around 9-10pm and spent some time as well.

July 15th, 2007- Like the last few months, Sunday started off with dropping Devin off at work and heading for tennis. I was there first, dad came shortly after; 8:50am.

Todd over slept though was there quite quickly. Chris and I lost to Dad and Todd 6-2, 6-4. Then Dad and I beat Todd and Chris 6-3. Dad was beat from the hot FL sun, it had to be upper 90s at best. He left and washed up.

Todd and I played and ended the game 4-4. I was not feeling well as far as my attitude, I was getting frustrated with myself and knew I had to end this for the week. Todd then beat Chris 6-0 and we left. Todd and I drove to the gas station to s.a.f. and grab a Mountain Dew, Chris followed in Todd's car.

Chris went home from there, Todd and I went to Dad's because Samantha had called and invited everyone over for subs. Todd, Dad, and I left in my car and got to Samantha's at 1:30pm.

Leigh, Dale, Charlie, Bianca, Allyvia, Timmy, and Jacob were all there. We ate subs and hung out for a few hours. I drove Dad home, then Todd and stopped back at Samantha's for a spell until Missy called. I got home around 6:45pm and spent time with my wife.
