| July 22nd,
2007- I dropped Devin off at
work and met Dad,
Todd and Chris for tennis.
Chris and I won against
Todd and Dad 6-3 and 11-9. Then Dad and I beat Todd and Chris 7-5.
Todd
and Chris played more; Todd winning 6-0, 4-0 and we all met at
Dad's house. I showed Dad some of the features on his camera.

He is
getting ready for our trip to Wisconsin. Dad, Barry, Logan, and Tara are
leaving on Tuesday along with Samantha and Charlie.
I am leaving on
Thursday with Nat. Every year the Lapps, etc. get together in a reunion
normally held at Crystal Lake near Lodi, WI. I have been told next year
it will be somewhere else. Last year, Barry and Nat went.
After I left Dad's house I met Todd
at his place and said hi to Jordan and the rest of the group there.
Barry and Logan were there fixing one of the ATV's.

I then went to
Samantha's and Charlie's and hung out with them for a while. I got back
right in time to pick up Devin from work, Randy Cooley, a roommate of
ours was also ready to make sure Devin was picked up.
Towards the night
Samantha stopped in at Missy's parents house where Missy was. They
followed each other back here to the house. Samantha and I recorded
"One Thing" written by her father at least 17 years ago.
This is a difficult time for
everyone.

July 23rd,
2007- At 12:30am Samantha was
leaving our house to go home. This marks the one year anniversary that
Scott had left us for hopefully what is "greener pastures". I
miss my brother horribly.
Jamieson Journal 36
On her way home, Samantha came across
"Turn The Page" as well as "Hey You" by Pink Floyd.
These songs were extremely synonymous with Scott, especially "Turn
The Page" which we have him singing and playing on video.
I can't
believe it has been a year; a year I haven't seen my brother Scott, a
year his children had to spend without him; an 18 year old girl trying
to find her place, a mother that has to struggle without the assistance
of her father, one boy that never got much of a chance to know his
father,
one boy that knew his father enough to know what he was missing,
one daughter who was about to find out her father's family structure and
a man who never had the chance to greet his dad; also an entire family
struggling to concept why life can be cruel, unforgiving and without
redemption.
Jamieson Journal 36
I was remembering the
time Scott was here at the house; this was sometime between June 05 and
June of 06. We had this chair that had one broken leg which caused it to
tilt and was very unstable.
We warned Scott of this chair, he laughed
and shrugged it off and ignoring are plea, he sat down. Within seconds
the chair flipped backwards and Scott fell in the corner trapped between
it and the wall.
Jamieson Journal 36
I helped him out only for him to have the same thing
happen moments later. We all got a kick out of this including Scott who
normally had more grace and more sense for that matter. Scott spent a
lot of time here with Missy and I, I think we were his home away from
home. I consider my relationship with him a very special bond that even
brothers seldom share.
Being 20 years apart he fit as someone I looked
up to, and at the same time he treated me like his closest friend. Him
and Missy were also very close as well.
Missy has had a hard time with
this because she had felt like she couldn't grieve the way the rest of
us did, she was trying to hold her pain respecting our loses.
Jamieson Journal 36
Though I
know they both were very close; the closest thing he had to a sister. We
spent more time with Scott than I ever had with a friend. By the end of
his life he had so much to offer to everyone, it is ironic that he was
taken when he was.

I am pleased to know,
which I just got wind of yesterday; Samantha and Leigh received a letter
from the man who was donated a kidney from Scott.
Jamieson Journal 36
This man is from
Texas, he works in the school system and has 2 children of his own. He
spoke of his rehabilitation and how he is grateful of life that Scott
assisted him with.
Officially, Scott lost his life and saved another. He
would be proud of himself, this is what Scott was all about, and I
consider this his last magic trick. I love my brother Scott and I will
always keep him in my mind.
