30th,
2007- I
picked up dad at 8am and met Todd, Devin and Jordan at the tennis
courts.
I had a good calm day,
Todd let his racket go once and he threw
it so bad it went near dad
....we got a kick out of that, especially me
whom is normally the temperish one.
At around noon I got a call from
Missy's cousin Tony telling me that Missy's Aunt Lucy just had a massive
stroke. He have gotten knowledgeable about strokes last year.
Jamieson Journal 42
Lucy is
about 93 years old, I can't see her recovering from this. We finished
playing tennis around noon and from there we all went to Benchwarmers, a
sports bar in Clermont.
There we met up with Barry, Nat, Joey, and Ron.
This was the first football game of the year we all met up together, and
it was worth it. Just as we got there, Brett Favre threw his 421st
touchdown pass breaking the record of Dan Marino which was held for 13
years.
This was a monumental experience for are family who watched his
first game as a 3rd string nobody traded from Atlanta in 1992-ish. Way
stayed at the bar until about 4:30pm, the Green Bay Packers beat
Minnesota 23-16.
Jamieson Journal 42
Our team is now 4-0, only 4 teams left undefeated.
While I was at the bar I called Missy to tell her the horrible news of
her Aunt. Missy went straight to ORMC hospital to see her. After the
game, I went to Todd's to drop him and Jordan off, than we went to Dad's
house to drop him off.
From there, Devin and I went to Samantha's house,
where we found out her and Charlie just had broken up. Samantha has
dreams and desires for many things; she recently went to California
where a lot of her mother's family is, and she met a 32 year old man she
likes and is getting promised money and a music career from her family
there.
It is really hard to say where this will lead, though at 32 years
old myself, and a good understanding of how things work, I see nothing
good coming out of this, though it is not my place to altar Samantha's
thinking.
Jamieson Journal 42
I couldn't do it 10 years ago, I surely can't do it now. We
hung out with Samantha until about 7pm and Devin and I went home. Missy
met us there and was sad to tell us the horrors of her hospital
trip....it doesn't bode well for Tita (Aunt) Lucy.
October 1st,
2007- Jay's
birthday as well as Ericka's! I called them both and said Happy Birthday
to them. Jay has been busy with his new home, and job. His children are
doing well, they were just at a fair.
I guess the 2 boys were nervous of
the rides, but not Haley. Sam is in football at school and doing well.
Jay and I talked for quite some time.

Ericka just turned 30. When I called she was
with her mom Paulie and her Aunt at a bar having some drinks. She seemed
glad I called, I do miss Rick's girls.....
Tita Lucy isn't any better, half of her body
and face dropped and she can't swallow anymore. How cluster phobic is
that!!!
Missy and I went back to our old Doctor.
This was a great thing for me since I didn't feel comfortable with Dr.
Pena as our delivery doctor, he is a friend of Missy's sister Mary,
though the love was never there for my family, assuming that may have
something to do with the coldness of his wife Bonnie and our lack of
money.

October 4th,
2007- Chad
Balogh came to FL to stay with Samantha for a week or two. He came with
his friend and guitarist John. They came to our house around 10pm and
stayed until about 3am.
Jamieson Journal 42
It is good to see Chad, we are close family and
have been since we've known each other. We jammed out and sung songs
like Amber from 311, and I heard some of their band's stuff.
October 5th,
2007- Chad,
Samantha and John actually got to our house after midnight. We sat
around the table with guitars and played for hours. The party broke up around 4am....I
play tennis in 4 hours.
October 6th,
2007- Jacob
and Timmy stayed at Barry's last night and Samantha picked them up at
10am to let them spend time with their step brother Chad. I got to the
tennis court at 8am and dad was there already. Todd, Devin, Jordan and
Vanessa got there shortly after. Jordan and Devin played dad and I first
and we won 6-0.
Jamieson Journal 42
Then Devin and Todd played as a team while Jordan went
swimming with Vanessa. We played 2 sets, the first one was extremely
close, 8-6, the second game was 6-1; dad and I won both. Todd is moving
in to his new home so he left at 10ish, Devin and I left from the courts
to go home and watch football.
At 7:30pm Missy, Allison,
Randy, Devin and I went to Barry's house to watch the Packer game
against the Bears. Todd, Jordan, Chad Balogh, his friend John, Samantha,
Ron Morrison and Dad all showed up and stayed until the end of game.
Green Bay lost their first game of the year 20-27 in a game they were
winning until the 4th quarter. Penalties were the flaws of the game and
James Jones who fumbled twice. It was nice to get some of the group
together.

October 10th,
2007- This
is Devin's last day living with us. He fell behind with not working, he
moved back with his dad hoping this venture helped fill a few things
that may have been missing before.
Chad and his friend John Posciple
stopped in with Samantha, their plane leaves early morning on the 11th.
John, Chad and Samantha recorded "What Am I?" a song written
by Chad, guitar by John, and Samantha sung.
It turned out wonderful,
Scott would've been proud. At my house we recorded "At Last".
Samantha sung, John played guitar, I gave percussions. Chad directed
Samantha and finished that around 3:30 in the morning. We said goodbye
to 4 people that night, the house will be quieter. I will miss them.
