I woke up somewhat late, around 11am.

Phone calls started rolling in, Missy's family.

I woke her up, and she called her mom back to find out that her

Tita Lucy had died in the morning.

Born June 30th, 1914, Missy's aunt lived a long life. It is unfortunate that the last month was spent in pain and virtually alone, though Missy did her best to comfort her. Being 8-9 months pregnant and stressed on this is not a good thing though what are the options.

 I must say I was somewhat relieved to hear that Lucy's pain was gone. The family now morns... the funeral is sometime next week.

October 14th, 2007-  Missy's 30th birthday! I went to play tennis with Todd, Dad, Devin and Jordan. Vanessa was there as well. Devin won his first doubles game against Dad and I though we came back and won the 2 out of 3.

I went to the Ranch to see the progress of Todd's moving then at 12:30pm, went to Barry's house to watch the Packer game with Dad. Ron Morrison and Alex Storchenko got there to watch the game as well. Green Bay squeaked by Washington 17-14.

 Now makes them 5-1, a very impressive year so far. I then went from there back home to celebrate Missy's birthday. I bought her some expensive perfume and some chocolates, Allison got her balloons. In the evening we went out to eat at Golden Corral.

This was Missy's choosing, Preston, Allison and Randy came along. Missy, with the death of her Aunt and the hardships that are going along with her pregnancy, she was hard to keep happy, but she did her best and I think overall she enjoyed her birthday. Samantha came by as well with Catalina...Jay called, her mother called, Todd, Devin...Barry and Dad.

The next 2 days Samantha comes over, her recent break up with Charlie has left her vulnerable as far as being alone on a daily basis. Her attitude is good, not sure where her thoughts are leading her.

October 17th, 2007-  Ernest Lee Colona, Missy's Uncle dies of cancer. A little over a year ago I ran across an inquiry of a woman looking for her father. It was the daughter of Ernest, whom had never met her father.

Unfortunately, the reunion never came about since Ernest's wife seemed threatened and disinterested in this father and daughter meeting. He died in Virginia.

October 18th, 2007-  I was woken up by a phone call from Todd at about 10am letting me know that Melinda had gotten into an accident. The only word was that Joshua and Haley were in the car with her and that the kids were taken to a separate hospital. Good new after about 2 hours of the unknown, I spoke with Jay.

2 Air bags deployed and the vehicle was mangled, though everyone was OK. The kids were unharmed, and Melinda was sore and slight whiplash from the accident. She got out of the hospital that night.

This is also the 15th anniversary of when Missy and I started dating Oct 18, 1992.

This morning dad cut his finger pretty bad while working in the yard at the ranch. Todd and his family are in the process of moving to their house in Ocoee.

October 19th, 2007-  Samantha came over with Jacob and Timmy. Jacob and Timmy felt Missy's stomach for the baby, and Capen let them know he is around, he gave Jacob quite a kicked.

It was so funny to see his shocked little look not expecting to really feel much if anything. The kids played until they fell asleep while we all watched TV in the living room. Samantha didn't leave until close to 4am.

October 21st, 2007-  John's birthday! He turns 47 today. I spoke to him around 5pm. He had gotten pushed off the road by a vehicle within the last week and was made to veer away into a 360.

Considering, John and Leslie are doing well. The doctor found no cancer in him so good news obviously with that. I woke up a little late at 8 am, immediately left to meet the regulars for tennis.

 I brought 2 racquets, one for Dad and one mine, they are twin racquets Preston got out of a car he detailed, was given to him which he gave to us. I don't think I ever played as good as I did today, hitting hard and aiming at will, it was a good feeling.

 Everyone played well, the racquet was doing good for Dad. At about 11am we stopped in at Dad's. Barry offered us breakfast and we hung out there for an hour or so before going to Todd's new home in Ocoee.

 We hung out there and dad and Barry ate there, I went back to Missy who is having a difficult week and left around 4pm. Leigh and the family went to Samantha's house and ate over there. Green Bay had a bye week and did not play.

October 22nd, 2007-  Missy woke up at 7:30, I at 9am to prepare for the funeral of Lucy Toehl. Samantha met us there at St. John Vianney, she picked up Preston. Allison came with us.

The first funeral we saw here was of Missy's good friend Kristina Hawks who died of cancer in her sleep a few years back. Missy went to school here as a child. We arrived there at 10:30am. Mary Luster, and Uncle Louie's daughter stood up to read verses and Louie stood up to speak for his Aunt on behalf of himself and Carmen.

My poor wife who has so much to conquer through out this pregnancy, it is frustrating. Ending at about noon, a bunch of us went to Olive Garden; Mary, Missy, Samantha, Anna and her 3 children, Allison, Preston, Madan Jean, and myself. Afterward, we went home where we spent the rest of the night. Samantha stayed until 12:30am...we jammed a little, she had me learn Strawberry Wine.

October 23rd, 2007-  Barry's 51st Birthday. I called and left a message, I am sure he was out and about.

October 28th, 2007-  We started playing tennis at 8:30am. JoJo was there with Vanessa, he played 1 set. Then dad, Todd and I played 3 sets.

Barry got there and we played 3 more. 7 sets of tennis is a lot for anybody, my dad was doing well the entire time. Green Bay plays on Monday night so I decided to leave after tennis to spend the day with Missy. Todd said Misty needed a little help with her genealogy.

She has been finding her family old and new....yesterday, she found her brother, we have a knack for that in this family/ I spent an hour or two there, Leigh, Jessica and the 2 youngest stopped in as well. Samantha came over that night after I had gotten home, we hung out til late.

Melinda has been in WI for a few, she comes back on there (hers and Jay's) 6th anniversary on October 31st.

October 29th, 2007-  Stopped in at Carmen and Preston's house and ate dinner. Also watched Jeopardy. From there, Allison and I drove to Barry's house to watch the game with the family.

 Dad, Todd, Devin, Barry Allison, Samantha, Logan, and Tara were all present for a dramatic game between Green Bay and Denver. Brett Favre threw an 83 yard touchdown pass in the start of overtime ending the game 19-13. Samantha followed us home, we hung out til late once again.

Missy will be 9 months pregnant tomorrow. Capen is very active in her stomach, he already has our full attention. Missy and I are so anxious for him.

 Samantha has a trip to WI and CA coming soon, will detail more on that when it comes as well as Dad and Nat going next week to Kansas to watch Green Bay play live against Kansas City. I am sure glad for them both, will be a good and memorable time.
