August 13th, 2008- 

Capen started crawling around on the floor, quite well too.

August 18th, 2008- 

Samantha leaves for Arizona, Leigh drove with her so she wouldn't have to go alone.

August 21st, 2008- 

Mom died 2 years ago, seems like just yesterday. We all miss her a lot.

August 23rd, 2008-  Leigh, Dale and all the kids including Jacob and Timmy were here at the ranch and had cake for Kevin's birthday. 

August 26th, 2008- 

Mom would be 72.

August 28th, 2008- 

Missy got her tooth pulled, had to do it emergency style, same dentist who did mine 2 years ago. Jay found out he has 2 cracks in his spine.

August 30th, 2008- 

Capen stood for well over 5 seconds.

August 31st, 2008- 

Sunday tennis with Barry, Dad, Todd and Ron. We came to the ranch afterward to celebrate Allyvia, Jessica and Amber's birthday. Logan and Tara were here.

Dale, Leigh and all the kids, and Todd, Jordan, Devin, Danielle and Shannon. We played tackle tag, then we played baseball twice. It was a busy day.

September 1st, 2008- 

We played tennis again; Dale came out for the first time. Barry, Todd, Dad and myself. Meanwhile, Missy, Leigh and the children swam there near the courts. After we played tennis, we went swimming with them all.

Capen just adores the water. After swimming we celebrated Labor Day at Barry's house. Joey, Kristen, Barry and his kids, Leigh, Dale and their kids, Todd, Jordan, Shannon, Missy, Capen, Dad and myself were there. We played Texas Hold Em. Missy, Leigh, Dale and the kids did the swimming thing again. Logan shared his Popsicle with Capen, he loved it.

September 4th, 2008- 

Missy and I celebrate our 9th wedding anniversary. Capen has learned his hand signal for milk.

 I talked with my brother Randy today, technically it is still his anniversary as well, though I didn't mention anything. Leigh, Dale and the kids, as well as Barry, Todd, Danielle and Devin were all here at the ranch.

We got Jacob and Timmy yesterday. They bummed around the house, playing in the hose by the trampoline.

This morning we went to eat with Dad at Winter Garden Family Restaurant. He, myself, Missy, Capen, Jacob and Timmy. Todd, Leigh and Dale had stopped by.

September 7th, 2008- 

Dad, Todd, Ron and myself met for tennis. Missy had Capen, Jacob and Timmy in the pool. Leigh, Dale and their kids came as well as Preston and Dominic.

After tennis we went swimming with them. At about noon, we came to the ranch and met Joey, Kristen and Nat here. On the way we picked up Danielle and Devin. Kristen and Joey did Lasagna. This was the first game of the football season, Brett Favre had his first game with the Jets.

 They won, Todd, Dad and Barry want to see him do good; Joey, Nat and I consider him a traitor. The kids played out in the yard. We watched the game and enjoyed each other's company.

September 13th, 2008- 

Dad moves back into the ranch with Missy, Capen and I

September 14th, 2008- 

Everyone came for football; Missy and Leigh went to Kristen's wedding shower.

September 20th, 2008- 

Capen celebrates his 10th month birthday. Dad, Nat, Joey Barry, Leigh, Dale and their kids were here and helped build the campfire to it's new location, by the pond area.

Capen is now able to stand on his own, getting up from the ground to his feet. He walks around by holding on to couches and chairs. He laughs a lot, he is now tending to his mom and dad more than others as far as being held. He army crawls around the house.

Dad is settling in nicely, we are glad to have him here.

September 21st, 2008- 

Devin's 20th birthday is the 22nd.

Dad and I met Barry, Lynn, Todd and Jojo for tennis. Dad and I beat Lynn and Barry, I won every game I played on this day.

We then met Preston, Dominic, Missy, Capen, Leigh, Dale and their kids by the courts for swimming. Capen loves the water.

We met back here and Missy and Leigh made spaghetti, we watched football and were with the kids. Devin, Danielle, JoJo and Shannon all came with Todd. We celebrated Devin's birthday with Mango cake he chose and sung Happy Birthday around the new Campfire.

October  4th, 2008- 

Joey and Kristen Hodges Jamieson get married at the ranch in Winter Garden, FL. Many people from Kristen's family in Kansas came as did Joey's family. Everyone here came, it was a lively, good-feeling party.

December 17th, 2008- 

Capen is completely walking on his own. He has got a great personality, is affectionate, ahead of the game and eager to learn everything.

December 24th, 2008- 

Christmas at the ranch, except this time he spent it outside by the pond and fire pit. The tree was outside. All the children came and opened presents around the tree. Dale was Santa Clause this year.

December 25th, 2008- 

Christmas at the Colona's. Barry, Dad and Todd all showed up as well.

December 31st/January 1st, 2008-2009 

We brought in the New Years at the campfire at the ranch. Gary, Missy and Capen Jamieson; Barry, Todd, Leigh and Dale, Dad, were amongst few who were there.

February 3rd, 2009- 

Devin Jamieson and Danielle Cowart find out they are having a boy; and will be naming him Andrew Michael Jamieson. He is due June 8th

February 11th, 2009- 

Jay, Melinda and the kids come from Alabama and stayed at Nat's. It is Samantha's birthday.

February 13th, 2009- 

It was Friday the 13th....let's see, Dad Jamieson tripped while walking on the trails he made and scraped himself up good. Later on, Haley and Tara were riding on the 4 wheeler and Haley drove into a wooden deck in the side of the house. They were both banged up pretty good and luckily wearing helmets. At night, Todd was attempting to stoke the campfire and grabbed the side that was piping hit and burned himself good. Nat, Jay, Joey, Kristen and I went to Ocala, FL to play Texas Hold Em in a tournament. Joey got out first, then Jay, then Kristen. I got out in 9th place, and Nat got out in 4th. You could also bet on horse and dog races there, which we did.

February 14th, 2009- 

Barry's fam, Leigh and Dale's fam, Jay's fam, and Todd fam, along with Nat, my fam, and Dominic, Jacob and Timmy with Dad here, and got together at the ranch. Though tonight was Nat's chili (deer meat), and a camp out. Timmy was the first to go inside, then Logan....pretty soon almost everyone came inside except Joshua, Sammy, Jessica, Anneka, Bianca, Allyvia and Christian. Nat slept in a tent; Jay, Melinda and Barry slept out by the campfire. Capen woke up for an hour and a half at about 3am, Missy and I went to our room to get him down.

February 16th, 2009- 

Jay and the gang leave back to Jemison, AL. Devin goes to basic training in the Army. He is stationed at Fort Benning in Georgia.
