Jamieson Vodden! This picture was most likely taken in Atwood, Canada where John and Mary Jane Vodden Jamieson were married, September 28th, 1892. This was three years after the death of his first wife Harriet Fountain. Mary J. Vodden was born in November 18th, 1852 in England. Though she is not a blood ancestor, it is shown that she stuck with John until his death in 1915. Ultimately, this couple's marriage lasted 23 years, the remainder of his life. It is not in our knowledge of when Mary died, where or how. John Jamieson died in Ethel, Grey Township, Huron County, Ontario. There is a lot of family history in Huron County as this centers around many of our family names.
