I started my family history and my family tree when I read a newspaper article about my great grandfather who was killed by a train.
His death was in 1901, though I felt a need to preserve his history because it had been cut short. His life sent me on a path to my ancestry that has lasted for over 15 years, he remains my favorite family story because how he died on the train tracks is still an unsolved mystery.
